Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin (12/21/1879 [Gori] - 03/05/1953 [Moscow]) The largest figure in world history is Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin, whose life and state activities left a deep imprint not only on the fate of the Soviet people, but also of all mankind , more than one century will be the subject of careful study of historians. The historical and biographical feature of this person is that she will never be consigned to oblivion. “The revolution in Russia and Lenin`s role in the creation of the USSR are events in world history. The October Revolution was the main and most important socio-political upheaval of the 20th century in terms of its consequences. Obviously, no one will dispute the fact that the transformation of the USSR into a superpower and the emergence of a bipolar world, divided according to many political and economic principles, was primarily associated with the activities of Stalin. Other leaders on whom the fate of people in the past century depended: Hitler, Mao Zedong, Roosevelt, Churchill, Gandhi, Tito, Khomeini, Mandela - are already in the next row, since their influence was not global, but regional ”. Zhores and Roy Medvedev
