Philip Kerr (English Philip Kerr ). February 2, 1956 - March 23, 2018 Philip Kerr was born in 1956 in Edinburgh into a religious family. In his autobiography, he proudly said that his mother comes from the Brodies clan (one of the oldest clans in Scotland). At the age of 15 he moved to England and studied law at the University of Birmingham. Before becoming a professional writer, he worked in advertising for Saatchi and Saatchi, and wrote for the Sunday Times, Evening Standard and New Statesman. Kerr himself did not believe that it helped him become a writer, in his words: "I spent a lot of time looking out of my office window or just writing novels." He wrote novels at the age of 10, and published his first book in 1989 at the age of 33. Kerr lived at Wimbledon. He was married to the writer Jane Tinn and has three children. Favorite hobby - playing guitar and piano. In addition to political thrillers and detective stories, he wrote books for children called "Children of t...
