With tainted meat the weapon and corporate greed the motive, The Knowland Retribution is an extremely topical suspense-revenge thriller. Walter Sherman, a.k.a. the Locator, is a tracker who honed his skills in Vietnam. The colorful cast of characters also includes Sherman`s two friends — a bartender with a mysterious past and an old black man who smokes like a chimney; a feisty young woman who writes obituaries for the New York Times; a southern lawyer who has lost everything and has only one thing to live for; and a group of Wall Street investment bankers who make a deadly decision. The action takes the reader from a tiny Caribbean bar on the island of St. John to the editorial boardroom of the New York Times, from the gleaming skyline of Atlanta to the isolation of northern New Mexico, from Adirondack hideouts to Manhattan suites to Mississippi backwoods. This complex and compelling mystery thriller is the first in a series featuring Walter Sherman as the Locator.

A book by Richard Greener

Richard Greener (English Richard Greener ) American writer. Richard Greener was born in New York in 1941. With over a quarter century of experience in broadcasting, he was a partner in a national company that owns and operates 30 radio stations from coast to coast. Due to a sharp deterioration in health, he was forced to resign. I started writing a book while awaiting heart transplant surgery. The book tells about the former police officer Walter Sherman, nicknamed "Locator" - a very eccentric and skeptical personality. However, thanks to his truly unique ability to find everything imaginable and inconceivable - be it a person, an object or anything else - Sherman is a sought-after person. By the way, he does not work alone - his partner Leo helps him in all matters. Walter Sherman`s longtime bosom friend is the owner of a small bar, in addition, this woman is fluent in such talents as driving a boat and driving a helicopter, which, admittedly, is not quite a typical occupation for a representative of the weak half of humanity. In 2011, it was decided that Fox would shoot The Finder based on Greener`s books. The series will feature screenwriter Hart Hanson, who previously wrote the scripts for Bones. Sherman and Leo have already appeared in the 19th episode of the sixth season of the TV movie "Bones" during the next Temperance Brennan investigation. Greener received the prestigious CEBA Business Achievement and Essay Awards. The writer and his family have lived in Atlanta for over 35 years.  IMDb Bibliography Series Locator 2006 - 1.
