A book by Ben kane

Ben Kane (English Ben Kane ) was born in Kenya in 1970, where his father worked as a veterinarian. The family moved to Ireland, where Bane grew up. At school, he became an avid reader of books of any genre, but Ben was especially fond of military history fiction. He spent all his pocket money on books and read all the contents of the local library. Although Ben Kane loved to read, he never thought about learning English or writing. As a true animal lover, all he ever wanted was to be a veterinarian. Five years in college, then the beginning of a career as a veterinarian. In 1996 Ben moved to the UK to focus on small animal practice. But Kane`s interest took him abroad in 1997, for 3 months he independently traveled along the ancient Silk Road. Visited the ruins of Merv, in Turkmenistan, in Roman Parthia in 53 BC. Kane Ben felt the urge to see new countries again, shortly after returning, in 1998 he embarked on a trip around the world that lasted for 3 years. It was then that Ben started thinking about writing military history fiction. He returned to the UK in early 2001, bringing himself back to "reality" and the "real world" - career, mortgage, etc. A terrible disease of foot and mouth disease appeared a month after Ben returned, and he immediately volunteered to help. The work took him to the stunning county of Northumberland, and to Newcastle upon Tyne, where he was to spend nearly a year. Although the slaughtering job was truly gruesome, Kane had the opportunity to visit some amazing sites and museums. These were the sights he dreamed of seeing as a child, and his imagination ran wild as Ben stood on the rocky ridges, looking north. It occurred to Kane that this must have been where the first Italian legionnaires had arrived. How would the Scottish tribes react to a great system that overshadows everything they have seen before? It was then that the determination to become a writer arose, and Ben soon began writing. What started out as a hobby became an obsession, and four years later, The Forgotten Legion was born. Thanks to the hard work of Charlie Viney, Ben`s agent, the book came out in the summer of 2007.
