Robert McKee - American screenwriter, theorist of the art of screenwriting. Born 1941, he is a Creative Writing Instructor. He became widely known for his "Story for a Million Dollars" ("Story"), which is a guide for many screenwriters in Hollywood. Robert McKee is one of the most widely recognized teachers of screenwriting. Famous writers and actors such as Geoffrey Rush, Paul Haggis, Akiva Goldsman, William Goldman, Joan Rivers, Rob Rowe, David Bowie, Kirk Douglas, John Cleese, Stephen Pressfield, and many others have attended his seminars. Robert began his theatrical career at the age of 9, starring at the Martin Shoemaker Theater. Mainly played teenagers in theater productions in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan. After receiving an Evans Fellowship, he attended the University of Michigan and earned a BA in English Literature. As a student, he directed over thirty performances. In 1983, McKee entered the faculty of the University of Southern California (USC) School of Film and Television, where he began offering his famous STORY seminar. A year later, the active distribution of the course program began, which caused a full house around the world. Since 1984, more than 50,000 students have signed up for the seminar in different cities of the world (Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Sydney, Toronto, Boston, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Helsinki, Oslo, Munich, Tel Aviv, Auckland, Singapore, Barcelona, ​​Stockholm, Sao Paulo and many others).
