It`s Jaz Parks. I`ve already smoked the guy who was the pain in the CIA`s you-know-what for the past few years. So when an agent planted among the Weres discovers a plot to assassinate the Coven`s leader, my vampire boss and I are brought in to take out the woman hired to do the deed, a killer who might be as wily and Gifted as ourselves. Jennifer Rardin, née Pringle, was born on April 28, 1965 in Evansville, Indiana, to James Pringle and Carol Ryan-Pringle. She has four brothers and a sister - the writer Erin Pringle. Since childhood, Jennifer loved fairy tales, Scandinavian myths and mystical legends and dreamed of becoming a writer. At the age of 12, she composed poems and stories for the entertainment of classmates, the heroines of which she brought out her friends. After graduating from Casey High School, Jennifer attended Eastern Illinois University, where she earned her BA in English Literature. Prior to becoming a writer, she worked in a television studio, was a children`s recreation organizer and worked at the University of Illinois, where she was involved in writing grant applications. On December 28, 1986, Jennifer married Kirk Rardin. Once she jokingly confessed to her husband that in fact she likes vampires, to which he advised him to write a book about them. Jennifer believed that quite a lot had already been written about vampires, but, encouraged by her husband, she decided to try to compose something of her own. So a new heroine of a vampire novel was born - a cool CIA special agent and a vampire hunter Jazz (Jasmine) Parks. Jennifer Rardin`s first published novel was Once Bitten, Twice Shy, released in October 2007 and starting the urban fantasy series Jaz Parks. Jennifer Rardin lived in Robinson, Indiana, in an old farmhouse with her husband and their two teenage children, Katie and Ben. She blogged on her website, chatted with readers and seemed like a happy and cheerful person. In early September, she announced that she was planning a US tour in October for the release of "Bitten in Two". The last entry on her blog is from September 17, 2010: Jennifer cheerfully shared her impressions of a family trip to Kenosha (Wisconsin) and Lake Michigan and posted some photos, in one of which we see her during a tour of the confectionery factory " Jelly Belly ”as she laughingly poses with the plush factory symbol. The big shock for her fans and friends was the message that forty-five-year-old Jennifer died suddenly on September 20 at 10:59 am. Many at first thought it was a bad joke, but no refutation followed. The cause of death was not announced. Only one message, dated September 21, leaked, stating that an investigation into the circumstances of the death was under way, and the authorities considered it a consequence of suicide. Bitten in Two was released after Jennifer`s death in November 2010. © Grumbler Reviews Official site http://www.jenniferrardin.com/ Taken from the site http://fantlab.ru/autor12575
