Tracy Chevalier Books

Tracy Chevalier was born in October 1962 in Washington (USA). At Oberlin College, Ohio, where she studied English Language and Literature, she earned her Bachelor of Arts and moved to London in 1984. Chevalier intended to stay in the capital of Great Britain for six months – but she still lives there. She took an evening literary course, her first story was published in the magazine “Fiction”. She worked as an editor for several years, and in 1993 she began work on her master`s thesis at the University of East Anglia in Norwich. At the same time, Chevalier, while working as a freelance editor, began writing the novel “Lady in Blue”, which was published in 1997. The real success fell to the lot of her second novel, The Girl with the Pearl, published in 1999. The latest published novels by Chevalier are Fallen Angels, Lady and the Unicorn, and Burning Out Brightly. Official website:
