Country: United Kingdom Born: 1960-03-02 Biography: Peter Hamilton was born on March 2, 1960 in Rutland (UK) and currently lives near Rutland Water. He began writing in 1987, and a year later his first story was published in Fear magazine. Since then, Hamilton`s stories have been published in Interzone magazine, and his short works have been included in the anthologies In Dreams and New Worlds. In 1992, his first novel, [Mindstar Rising], was released about the adventures of psychic detective Greg Mandel. This book opened the trilogy, which also included the novels “A Quantum Murder” (1994) and “The Nano Flower” (1995), nominated for a British Science Fiction Award, and the short story “The Suspect Genome” (2000), which received a British Science Fiction Award 2000 and nominated for a Locus Award 2001.
